Hello everyone,

My name is Barbara and I have been suffering with incontinence over the last year. It has been a challenge for me and my family but we have gotten by. I have been an active reader on this and other forums and have found the support and community incredibly helpful. Over the last few months, I've explored many of the existing alternatives to purchase incontinence products and have been underwhelmed and disappointed. There are nearly 30 million of us who manage these issues in this country and I think we deserve better.

I'd like to work towards a better solution to make the process of buying incontinence supplies easier and cheaper. But first, I'd like to get all of your thoughts on what an ideal solution would look like.

If you could, please fill out this completely anonymous 10 question survey (should take less than 2min). I sincerely welcome your thoughts.

Thank you,
BM

Barbra, I took your survey. Do youl mean finding what I need, or finding ways to pay for it. I'm actually in the process of founding a non profit that helps those with incontinence and in less that ideal life circumstances (l(oss of job, special needs, low income, emotional stress, college student, choosing between diapers and other neccessitys, lack of insurance, lack of Medicaid, etc) get what they need at reduced or no cost. I'm talking about getting brands like Confidry, Abena, Molicare, and Northshore Care into the hands of those who desperately need them because lesser products either don't cut it or are uncomfortable. I'm in the reasearch and planning phase now, and planning to implement a fundraiser in the next few weeks to cover founding costs. Personally, I have been dealing with this long enough that i know what i like to use, what works and what doesn't. This forum was a godsend. What excactly have your experiences been in finding products? Why have you had such a hard time?

Peace out!

I completed your survey. One thing I would suggest is to somehow include cloth diapers and plastic pants. There are many members here who prefer cloth over disposables, or a mix of both.
