I've decided I'm taking today to relax and I'll try again tomorrow. I tried last night one more time and I couldn't do it. I was so upset and frustrated. My body and mind need a day to just take a break.

Well I did it. There's a first time for everything I suppose. The cathing itself was a bit uncomfortable but I guess I'll get used to it

Justj, you are on the right track with learning to relax. That is very difficult to do when you are first self-cathing. Your body will learn to tolerate the procedure better and things will get better. Guaranteed.
