This may need to go in the medication area, but thought I would start here. My wife just got samples and a prescription for 25mg once a day Myrbetriq. Any of you all have experience with this drug? We will look it up on the internet, just wondering what the real world experience for any of you has been. Thanks

Hi Texan, your wife and I will be medication testing partners! I myself had just started this same drug about two weeks ago. I tried Oxybutynin and had negative sude effects of kind of a mailase. Not good. Doctor said this one is newer snd has fewer side effects.

For me, so far so good in terms of side effects. But im not sure its helping me enoigh to justify the cost. Im still having night episodes of incontinence, and still frequency during the day - albeit with less urgency.

Ill be interested to hear your experiences with it.

I tried it I think last year? Was on it for a few months with no positive results. I tend to be hard to treat with medication anyway so its possible that could be part of it. I've gone through the gauntlet of incontinence medications. I have Medicare and if I remember correctly they covered it. Hope it works for you!

I used it a few years ago, but did not like the side effects, and it did not work that well for me. Also, if you have retention it would not be a good one to try.

Thank you all for responding. These comments are very helpful. I will let you all know how it works for my wife. This is one of the reasons I really like this site!

So my wife went to get the prescription filled for a 30 day supply and with our medicare part D prescription plan, it's over $300 per month! Wow! I don't spend anywhere near that amount for my incontinence supplies! She is only using pads and pullups right now. So I'm not really sure why we have the drug plan! Do any of you all have a Part D drug plan that covers this? We could buy a new car for this amount per month, if we didn't want to eat!

Holy Cow!!
My doctor told me it was expensive, but I had no idea it was that bad!! With my insurance, it’s costing me $20/month and even at that price, I’m weighing pretty heavily whether or not it’s worth it. Don’t get me wrong, it seems to have some benefit - but not at al curative of my symptoms, not least the night time accidents!
I definitely wouldn’t consider or think it’s worth it for that high price!
