No prob also I saw on your signature you said you have issues with plastic pants cracking I find PUL pants work really well as a diaper cover to both prevent leaks and odors as well as being a little breathable

The best pants I ever had were EuroFlex ones made by Gary a few years ago but they seem to have stopped making them. They were great - super thin yet very strong. I'm using DryLife atm and they're pretty great. Weirdly other Gary pants have not lasted long at all despite regular soap-free washing.

I'll check them out as the breathability would no doubt help with the yucky yeast infections. That's the worst thing about incontinence for me, in fact I'm totally comfortable with my need for slips/diapers after many years (finally! Yay!!) but thrush ain't much fun

The Garywear Active Brief is what I use not sure how available they are in the UK and haven't been using them too long so not sure how long they would stand up to washing but they might help.

Thanks. I'll check them out as like I say Gary stuff has been great in the past but the last 2 pairs sounded like crisp packets after a few days. Googling now!

Are you not supposed to wash them with soap? I always have. Just thrown them in the washer and not dried them (I hang them up to dry)

Hi Seaninslips, Welcome to our forum. I've been using the the Gary PUL pants for nearly two years and in my experience they have been great (or Brilliant as you might say). I wash them in the washing machine with warm water and regular laundry soap and then line dry them and they still look and feel almost new. BTW... I also use the LeakMaster PUL pants ( I think they're made by Gary too) and have had the same good luck with them too. I just can't say enough good things about both of these pants.

How do the LeakMaster compare pricewise to the Gary ones if they are cheaper I might need to try them and see if they work just as well

Hi Greengold4:
From what I can tell the price is basically the same for the pull-on version and a bit higher for the side-snap version. I buy them at Adultclothdiaper.com. I believe the Leakmasters are made by Gary as they appear to be of the exact same material and construction. However, the Leakmasters are much fuller cut than the Gary Activewear briefs. They come up much higher in the front and back and the crotch seems to be a bit wider. I wear the Leakmasters over my thicker diapers and also I really like the side-snap version during the hot summer days here in Florida.

To get the maximum life out of your Gary PUL pants, wash them by hand in warm water, no soap, and air dry. So long as you are able to wash your pants soon after wearing, it is not necessary to use soap unless the pants are soiled. If you must machine wash, be very careful about the temperature.
