It seems like AR would be strategically located for the entire country. AR was Gary's idea I believe. AR is within the reach of the entire country for ground shipping within a few days. I worked logistics for several years. There is a cutoff time for FedEx and UPS. If you place your order at 3, they have to have time to pick it, package it, weigh it, then notify the freight company of the order. If they can't do that, you'll have to plan ahead and give them more notice. Unless you choose Saturday delivery, which is expensive, then the freight company won't deliver on the weekend. You may not be any better getting your supplies from Amazon. You also may not get your diapers in unmarked packages. Depending on where the warehouse is located that stores your supplies, you may have to wait even longer. Unless, you expedite them. Which once again costs quite a bit. I think we should give them time to work the bugs out. I've called them several times and have always found them very nice. Whenever I call, they pick up the phone within two to three rings. I never get a voicemail as I often did with Gary, who may not get back with me till the end of the day PST or worse next business day. Gary gave good service, but he had his downfalls too. All companies have their ups and downs. I live in FL, which when their warehouse was solely in CA, it could take well over a week to get my supplies. Just offering a little perspective.

Give them some time folks. We should not be negative about XP Med solely because Gary is no longer active in the company. It is only fair to treat the new ownership as we would a new business. As Noe said, "Business transitions often cause turbulence."

I have had two experiences with ordering from XP Med under the new ownership. Both went well and products arrived in a timely manner. I am in North Carolina.

i also ordered recently from xp. i think it was 2 or 3 weeks ago. i ordered on a thursday (late at night) and got my order on tuesday. i live in dc. i havent noticed anything negative from the new owners. i ordered a case of confidry and things went smoothly. as its been said, with any changeover with a business there are gonna be a few hiccups. i say lets give em a chance.

I understand that if you are on the east coast, having a warehouse more centrally located works better for you. For me, the delivery time is now longer, but much of that can be a winter weather problem. I keep trying different things to make my incon easier.

I live in florida, so even when Gary was in charge it used to take an average of 5-7 days for my order to get to me. Now I usually have it in 4-5 days.

As long as you plan for the shipping time, and have the recommended emergency supplies, then even a 10 day shipping shouldn't be a problem. Sure it's annoying to some right now, especially because things have changed in general. I personally like their more centralized location. It's more fair for everyone after all.

So I have to let you know how great of an experience I have had...

Last Friday night I ordered my two months supply of diapers and booster pads. Sunday night I found out that I was leaving this coming Friday and not next Monday like I was told. I ended up calling Xp in hopes of getting my order status and hoping that it would get here in time. The very nice lady that I talked to pushed my shipping through in rush time. Then something today happened that will forever make me an XP Medical client.. That same lady called my to inform me that the boosters that I ordered were out of stock... bummer right... But bigger bummer because a replacement would not be here before I left for my trip... XP MEDICAL IS OVERNIGHTING THEM TO ME ON THEIR DIME.... I did not ask for it.. and even tried to pay the difference as the Abena normal boosters case is more money.. The lady would not have it... went above and beyond what she had to and is getting me what I need in time for my trip..

Since I wear cloth most of the time, I don't order disposables too often. Thus, I just placed my first order from XP Medical since it was sold. I received my order in four days from their warehouse in Arkansas (I live in Oregon). The order was correct, and the packaging was discreet. Same excellent service I was used to when Gary owned it. XP will continue to be my primary source for disposables.

That is good to hear. I stopped ordering fromk XP after the sale due to folks having issues.

So far I continue to have good experiences with XP Medical.

I will note that the company that bought XP Med is LiveAnew LLC. LiveAnew was founded in 2009 and is based in Austin, TX. Tim Clarkson is the CEO. It now owns three companies: LiveAnew, XP Medical, and Caregiver Partnership. LiveAnew acquired the Caregiver Partnership in 2005. The Caregiver Partnership is located in Wisconsin and, at the time of acquisition, had 12 employees.

It remains to be seen how managing these three companies, and perhaps consolidating and standardizing their products, will affect the products offered through XP Medical and its service.

All three of LiveAnew's companies specialize in selling incontinence products. I wonder why they are selling basically the same thing under three different company names. That must make for very complex accounting and other kinds of record keeping.
