What are some of your most leakiest positions that tend to provoke your accidents?
For me I often get insatiable urges and leak while standing or squatting

you mean leak as in your diaper leaks or leak as in your bladder involuntarily releases urine?

If you mean in the first sense, I rarely have diaper leaks now. Usually they happen at night laying on my stomach or side sleeping.

I have OAB with urge incontinence. My accidents are not very predictable at all. Not every urination is marked by severe urge and spasms, maybe %0% of the time. Usually those result is not making it to the bathroom and losing pretty much a whole bladder's worth. About 50% the urge builds normally and gradually and doesn't result in an accident. This is up from maybe 20% of the time just 6 months ago. Things continue to get worse for me.

The problem is that I don't ever know which 50% of the time an accident will happen so this necessitates 24/7 diapers. I don't bother trying to make it to the bathroom anymore as even in the 50% normal times, it's too much of a pain in the ass to untape one side of the diaper and try to get it retaped and stick for good. It's just become easier to accept that I wear diapers so I might as well just rely on them 100% of the time. I don't know if this is going to contribute to my gradual and continual loss of more and more control or if I'm just destined to lose that control anyway. Regardless, it's just easier to use the diaper if I'm stuck wearing it anyway.

Anyway, I have never really notices any position being a trigger for an OAB spasm/accident. They are just all over the map and terribly unpredictable.

Laying on your side. Hands down.

This is the proverbial Achilles heel spot for disposable diapers. I used to think no diaper can hold up to a full night of side sleep wetting. Recently though I found crinklz actually does. They are expensive as crap though.

I should also ask, what diaper are you using. Standing is typically the most reliable position for guys to wet in. I can't help but think if you're leaking in this position a lot, then you need to be changing at least every 4 hours, or you're not using a good enough diaper.

MikeJames,

As you describe it, the urge incontinence that you experience is identical to what I experience. The problem for me is bad enough that I've been wearing a diaper 24/7/67 for about 30 years now. During that period, the proportion of times where urges lead to involuntary loss of control has increased, but very, very gradually.

I have not entirely given up using the toilet. I find that I can generally pull the diaper down far enough in front to use the toilet without having to untape the diaper. However, I use the toilet only when it is reasonably convenient to do so. When no toilet is nearby and easy to reach, I just use my diaper.

It's the same for me, I tend to get the strongest urges when I'm standing or in the process of standing up.

I use Crinklz too and their all-white version, BetterDry. They are a great sleep diaper, about as good as Confidry 24/7 (for me, anyway).
Crinklz are cheap in the UK, £0.83 ($1.02), where as Dry 24/7 is crazy expensive £ 1.88 ($2.35) each.

If you ever want to do a 24/7 for Crinklz or BetterDry swap, let me know.

I sleep on my back most of the time, and tend to leak from the back of my legs, just under the butt cheeks. Some diapers are better than others at preventing leaks there, but it still happens about once a week. Diapers with tall leak guards seem to be the best.
Side sleeping is another story. I don't stay on my side long because the pain will wake me up. If I do happen to wet while on my side, it almost always results in a leak.

Outside of the house, I use Tena Max Active Fit. My daytime control is pretty good, and they are discreet and fairly easy to un-tape and re-tape for when I make it to the toilet. Sitting for extended times is my weakness. When driving or at the movies, my bladder goes haywire. Luckily, my diaper almost never leaks - I make sure I go to the bathroom right before the movie starts or I head out on the road. I had my diaper leak in my car once or twice and that was a pain to clean up.

Unfortunately once you add shipping it, its just cheaper to buy them.
