travel question

so my flight is 4 hours. im not sure i trust my a+ level 4 to last that long. and i dont want to sit in a wet diaper on the plane for too long. changing in the bathroom is a hell no. there is no where to lean and just no. and i am not going to carry a diaper from my seat to the bathroom. hell no.

what should i do?

Hi. Can you carry a small backpack with your carry on items in it? When I fly, I carry a small bag with 2-3 diapers in it with some wipes. I change in the bathroom. I don't worry about what anyone else thinks. It's my business, not theirs, nor do I believe most people care. My only other advice would be to put a heavy booster in your diaper to give it more absorbency. I try not to worry about trivial things like that.

I have never been on a plane so I do not know the bathrooms on them. Is there a decently large trash can to dispose of an old diaper in them? If so, what I have done may work. double diaper and wear loose pants and a long shirt. When I do this the inner diaper take the brunt of the wetting, and when I need a new one the tapes pop open easily enough. I just pull it out leaving the outer, dry, diaper in place and ready to use.

I was just on a 4 hour flight yesterday and I agree: changing on the plane, hell no. The lavs are cramped and the trash bins tiny. Fortunately my NorthShore Supremes last at least 6 hours.

My suggestion is a booster, and/or limiting your fluid I take before the flight.

I peed before i got on the plane and havd a a+ level 4 on. Think ill be ok. Ill report when i land!

Well I made it with no incidents.
I wore a onsie, pul pants, and an a+ level 4. And survived a 4 hour trip!

I did have one incident. I was changing/going #2 and i got it on my onsie. Have no idea how. So i took it off and am just wearing pul pants and a diaper. I have a long shirt on so i just have to be careful and wash my onsie when i get to my parents house. Not gonna get upset or anything. Some times shit happens. Literally.

Wow, an A+ diaper could never last a full 4 hours for me- especially while sitting down the entire time. I didn't even know that was possible. Next time also try using a booster pad. They typically won't do much for improving the performance of a diaper, but will extend how long you can go before they leak.

And I have had to change in an airplane's restroom. You need to be fairly nimble, not too big or overweight, and well practised in changing while sitting. The trash receptacle is NOT big enough for a diaper though. You can however, open the small door to access the trash can and pull it out enough to put the used diaper in it (which is only just barely big enough).

Hi all, I travel quit often for work including flying continental and intercontinental. The funny thing is that I have less accidents while flying than when I'm off the plane. When I fly through the night I have to wear good protection. I pack a couple of diapers in a toilet bag including plastic pants. The toilet bag is a black bag looking perfectly normal. You could think I would have my shaving stuff, washing gear etc in it. Reality is different I put on a diaper in the toilet and walk back to my seat. I had never any issues with it. In case it will be a bit bulky I put a jumper around my waist covering my back.
Recently I had to open my back pack while going through security. The lady wanted to open my toilet bag. I told her no problem. She looked inside and closed it without any questions asked. Very professional, I had no issues with it.
