Hey guys and gals was wondering if anyone has had experince with the attends diapers with six tabs for an overnight situation. I have in the past used abena m4 but with my accident coming and going I dont belive I need the higher end products. Also would they work for a day time situatiom as well, curently Im going with the depends real fit, which work when conditions are moderate.

Bob,

It largely depends on how heavy your incontinence is at its worst. If your output and severtity can vary, you want to be loaded for bear if an unexpected flo od should occour. I myself deal with what i term moderate to heavy urge/overflow incontinence with a revolving door of symptoms. I can range from having almost complete continence to almost never making it to the toilet.. although it seems the latter is happening less now that ive started cathing :). If you have a revolving door, you want to go with worst case scenario. Attends 6 Tape are a very good diaper if you are planning n using them on a change when wet basis and you wont flood them, just spurt in them. What pattern does your incontinenence take overnight? If youre wet trhough out the night, they would not work. If your'e a side sleeper, id recommend against them. They are good at tying up one bladderful at most before being changed, really best for lite to moderate or moderate only incontinence. If you found Abena necessary in the past for overnight protection, that would suggest to me you need to stick with them. Always hope for the best, but prepare for the worst. Personally, i would much rather waste a dry diaper than have a soaked bed/pants because i didn't protect myself. If you do what I do and use cloth pocket diapers, you can actualy protect for the worst case scenario and reuse the diaper later (after washing it of course..just like your underwear, they need to be changed at least once a day) if you don't have an accident. If youre interested in trying some of the pocket diapers i use, you can find them here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/MissingKinks/items. The owner is very friendly and bends over backward to make sure you are happy with your diapers. She embroiders blank adult sized one size fits all diapers with designs, and she does custom orders too. Pretty much anything you can think of under the sun she can embroider. I actually have Star Trek themed diapers, one with the Starfleet logo circa Voyager era, and one with the United Federation of Planets logo. They are a bit thick if youre not used to cloth, but very comfortable. It feels like youre wearing a pillow between your legs. They feel dry even when wet, unlike traditional pin on cloth diapers. If you use the right amout of inserts, they do the job nicely, and can be reused saving money, if you dont mind doing laundry every 3 days or so.

Hope I didn't overwhelm you with this post, and I hope i answered your question. Anything else, ask away!

Peace out!

Rob

Depends can be made to work if your leakage is minimal. However, if you cannot change immediately after even a minor release, you will have an accident. Good luck.

Like the others have said, Attends are not good for anything other than minor leaking, and if you intend to change very often. They will not be able to contain a full wetting flood.
