well my old gp left the practice and i had to get a new one. i really liked my old doctor. i went with a different practice because the old place was too far away. i hope this experience is better than when my awesome urologist left and i got stuck with an old guy who was a pill pusher and basically said there was no hope for me.
i plan on being upfront about my incontinence and just laying it all out there.
her specialty is transgender care and by her pics she looks nice.
nervous, but unlike usual when im nervous about the trans stuff im nervous about the bladder stuff.

It's tough switching doctors. As a vet I get my primary care through the military base hospitals. You can't beat their pricing of free, but they rotate out new doctors every year or two and I effectively have to start all over with them each time.

I've also been to see two dozen urology specialists in the past two decades. Each one seemed more incompetent than the last until I met my current one a few years ago. Just finding one that doesn't push pills is hard enough as it is.

I really hope your new doc turns out to be one of the better ones.

everything went well. shes really cool. shes a pa and not an actual physician and said because im a "complicated case" (not the first time ive heard that!) i may have to switch to a physician. she recommended i talk to someone about getting a catheter. not sure how i feel about that. im terrified of infection. she said she would help me get diapers through my insurance. she didnt bat an eye that i wore them.
