Again, if you PM I would be okay answering questions too.

Hello guys.

Thanks for toning it down, again I was not trying to be disrespectful of your issues or anything, I just wanted to get insight on incontinence to craft the character well.

So, if you feel like "trust but verify" thing, you can check the facebook page for our project:

HOLY CRAP SUPERMAN! I SOUND LIKE A STUFFED SHIRT, BUT WHAT WOULD I KNOW ABOUT COMICS (to paraphrase). I was once told being nice pays off in the end, but I never really though helping someone who ISN'T incontinent would pay dividends. Let me just say to the world- Thank-you Enrique! I hope my feedback was as beneficial to you as it now seems to be to me.

Porkchop, I'm sorry, but I strongly suspect that you don't fit the "demographic" [emphasis on graphic, lol] for the behind-the-scenes by(or should I say fore?)play!

Hey guys!!

So I've been in touch with John and Brian and I want to ask something from you. No, it's not the questions, John and Brian already provided insightful information.

To raise awareness of every issue our superheroes go by, we're going to start a dynamic where we put an image of the character and their struggle and testimonies of real people who have gone through it.

So we'll post an image of this hero wearing a diaper and a tshirt but aiming his bow and arrow, showing he's a baddass with the caption "I may wear a diaper but I am not a baby."

John agreed it would be a good idea. He also provided a testimony that we'll put in our Facebook page. This is an invite if any of you have any words you'd like to say about incontinence to the world.

This is Quiver, our incontinent superhero!

So if anyone wants to tell their experience, we would gladly share it.

Most of this thread was posted while I was away, so I'm late to the game.

May I add one more idea? My neurogenic bladder/bowel has occasionally caused intermittent intense pain. And it still does, although surgery diminished most of the bladder pain. My problem was that I never knew when or how it would strike. And, when my bladder and/or colon spasm, nothing else in life matters. The pain can be sudden and devastating. If this aspect is included, you might consider giving him a tens unit for those times when his incontinence is painful, and indicate him using it.
