Hi all,
Twice in the last month or so I've had major dribbling episodes and one episode of wetting the bed. I can't blame caffeine or alcohol for the bedwetting episode or the 2nd bout of dribbling. I'm going to keep a food diary of everything I eat to see if i can identify any patterns. I'm hoping to identify any food based causes of my problems.

I would advise you to discuss this with your doctor. You should be able to get at least an approximate idea of foods that may be causing your problem; however, only a double-blind experiment would give you definitive results, and that is impossible for us. I am on a strict, and exasperating, diet, which hinders incontinence management, big time.

I've changed my diet as well, starting a ketogenic diet in hope that weight loss helps my incontinence issues. Its exasperated my issues with incontinence for the time being, but I'm hoping that is temporary. When I first started dealing with these issues, I tried drinking less fluids, cut my caffeine intake dramatically, and avoided citrus and other trigger foods. It helped slightly, but not enough to erase my issues. I hope you are able to find some luck through this method.

Good luck and let us know how, or if, it works for you. I've been on many diets from paleo to vegetarian and many in between, and only the amount of water I drink has ever affected the severity of my incontinence. Unfortunately cutting back too much gave me gout (pain in feet from uric acid buildup). Now I have to drink lots of water and just let the wetting happen- a lot. Other than that I just try to eat healthy, watch my portions, and stay away from the junk, sodas and fast food.
