As I'm sure you know, that's nothing to be ashamed of.

I knew a girl in college with CP. She worked at the front desk of my dorm as a work study student. She used a chair and wore diapers. It didn't seem to show her down much.

Incontinents, of all people, should understand the embarrassments of disabilities. We also understand the necessary coping strategies, which, from time to time can add to the discrimination that folks in the disabled community feel. Welcome, and, please, add to our inventory of knowledge about how you manage.

Welcome to our little corner of the interwebs. Most all of us here are disabled to some degree - regular people would never notice most of our unique - nesses, as we have become skilled in managing our issues. CP is a common issue, and certainly nothing to be ashamed of. Feel free to open up here with your concerns or questions and we'll support you in a caring compassionate manner. I promise.

I'm assuming based on your profile name that you're 34 years old? If that's correct, you probably need to talk to your parents about finding solutions beyond them. They aren't going to be around forever, and if you lack the manual dexterity to change tape on diapers, you probably need to give another product, or look into getting an aid that doesn't leave you solely dependent on your parents for care.

If your parents have been caring for you since your infancy, continuing to do so may seem natural to them, if not to you. Giving them time off, however, is merely being considerate on your part. Try to discover what assistance is available and discuss it with them. Good luck.
