Well, Here is an update. I spent the last week at home from work with major dizzy spells and light-headedness. Went to my doctor on Thursday and my BP was 100/58. Just a tad on the low side. So I am off my one medication. Now bringing the BP back up. The headache's and dizzyness still persist and I have a neurologist appointment scheduled on April 16th. Hopefully we will have more answers then.

But in case anyone wonders, that is why I have not been on here in a while.

Hi, msshendo - I most certainly have been thinking and worrying about you. I wish your neuro appointment were earlier. Please do keep us posted. I'm sorry that you haven't been feeling well.

Sorry to bring up an old, old (wow didn't realize how old this post was) post, but I wanted to bring you up to date on this. I've been seeing the neurologist and on medication to reduce the headaches, not helping much. I've been seeing a neuro therapist and am going to start some kind of therapy and bio feedback for that.

However, on the downside, last Sunday, I had a bad episode where I drank something cold, got a "brain freeze" and blacked out. Someone who was with me said my body convulsed like I was having a seizure. So, I called my neuro and got in and today I am having an EEG done. I guess they are looking to see if I'm prone to seizures or not. I've never had them before in my life and this would have been the first one. But can I tell you I'm scared to eat or drink anything really cold now! My God how unnerving this is!

So off we go on bouts of brain tests. Probably going to have another MRI done in the near future too just to see if anything had changed since my last one in November of last year. All I know is something is messed up in my head and I'm tired of it and just want it to stop!

How is your blood sugar? My mom had blackout issues before she was diagnosed as a diabetic. Her blood pressure was also lower than usual before she got her blood sugar under control.

I hoe they find out soon.

My blood sugar usually runs good to high. My A1C is usually in the 6 to 7 range.
