Yes having my husbands shop and husband across the yard is very nice. I'm very blessed to have a set up like I have.

I wear the same type of jeans as you stated I also wear loose fit jeans as well. Most of the time I wear a flannel(this time of year)or a T-shirt in summer not tucked in so that it hangs down and covers my waist line. Also if anyone is taking notes wear your pants one size bigger then you need in the waist size.

As far as my plastic pants I did have two pairs the one from LL medico and that other pair my husband bought me years ago I've been switching back and forth. But I did get some new ones today. I got two pairs of clear ones off EBay last week for $16.65 shipping included. They aren't near the Quality of the LL Medico. They make a little noise not real bad. They are the somewhat clear ones. You can see through them somewhat but they are kind of cloudy. Well I guess you get what you pay for :?

I did wear jeans over the snap on ones this weekend I really didn't notice much difference between them and my normal disposable brief that I wear.

Say no one has answered my question about how common the snap on briefs are :?:

Sad to say I somehow feel I have an attachment to my disposable diapers. That sounds a little silly doesn't it  I like the cloth but I find I miss my disposables when I'm wearing cloth. Must be a blond thing

Sandy,
The snap on diapers are out there, but I believe not too popular since as they age, they may not fit as tight. Also, the metal snaps might rust if the manufacture doesn't use the right metal. It should be stainless steel.
My velcro diaper from My lil' Miracle is working great. I wore it last night to bed. It's easy to make tight and will not loosen. Of course the the pull-on's are great too. I really have no problem with the few pin-on diapers I use the ones from Adult cloth diaper. They're Ok for day, but it's night when I use them most. The gauze flat ones I use from Adult cloth diaper fit me very well. I can get them very tight with ease and they stay tight.
Also, Sandy, your plastic panties will usually be of lesser quality off e-Bay. That's not to say e-bay does not have many good deals on plastic pants. I stick with the diaper firms I know of since I know of their quality.
One time I ordered a three pack from thase mail order catalogs like Harriett-Carter or Miles Kimbell. They're really cheap, like $9.99 for a three pack, but when I got them, the size was too small for a thick cloth diaper and they lasted about 3 months.
I understand your attachment to disposable diapers. I will never be able to not ever use them since there are situations that they are a must. I like cloth diapers maybe because my mother raised me in cloth diapers and plastic pants. Disposables were not even thought of way back then.
By the way, Sandy, did the washing go better than what you thought? ...............Paul(Martin)

Well I had my husband look at the snaps and he said they must be stainless they aren't magnetic.

Well I'm back in a disposable today being I'm washing diapers this afternoon. I have a Tranquility ATN on it feels good to be wearing one of these. I think part of it is I don't have to wear plastic panties over my diaper.

I did try the cloth boosters in the cloth diapers over the weekend and was impressed at how much the capacity increased. But talk about having saggy pants as my husband calls it :?

You stated you bought some plastic pants from one of those mail order catalogs. That was brave I always assumed that most of the stuff in those 1/2 breed catalogs was junk.

...............Sandy

Sandy,
The elastic on some plastic pants are pretty tight. That will effect the comfort level of a cloth diaper. I've bought so many different types of plastic pants, I've found the brands that are best for me.
One thing also to consider is ordering a size too small. They can get really uncomfortable if the elastic is too tight around your leg.
The baby diaper boosters are a must for me at night, and also during the day. The only cloth diaper I use where I have a saggey bottom is my pin on diapers. My pull-on and the velcro diaper from My Lil" Miracle don't sag at all! I'm about to order some more diapers at night since my two from Loving Comfort are about to wear out(after 2 years). I have two more I've yet to use, but they are too hard to pin on. I'm going to try to sell them on e-bay. To replace these two, I'm pretty sure I'll go with the velcro ones from My Lil' Miracle. They fit very snug, absorb very well, and don't sag when wet. They dry pretty fast too. Keep up your comments on your cloth diapers. I'm sure all the menbers who view these post are just as interested in how they are working for you as I am! .............Paul

Hi Guys
I'm back. I wanted to comment on snaps on cloth diapers. I've used pin on and velcro for years. Recently I've switched to snap on diapers from snap ez 4 life and been really happy with them. They are all in one so you don't need plastic pants but I use them anyway, just habit I guess.
I wear them over disposibles too. I really like the concept of the pocket diaper it allows me to use prefolds without pins. Anyway I have been really happy with the snaps, they are a resen material and work great.
Anyway gotta go.

Tony

Thank you so much for posting to this subject. Snndy and I were about to come to the conclusion that some allien came down from outer space and abducted all of the active posters on this site.
You mentioned the snap ez 4 life briefs. Where do you get those or see them? I have tried some all-in-one briefs before, but a long time ago.
Sandy can use all the info everybody has to get here on the right track of cloth diapers! Thanks again for coming back! .........Paul

Tony,
I went to their website and checked them out. How do those hold up to washings? Looks like the type you add an insert(pocket diaper) would work well. They aren't cheap, but if they hold up to a lot of washings they'd be worth it. .....................Paul

SAndy,
Tony found some different type of snap-on diapers. His type has much more snaps to get a very snug fit. Your diaper has probably fewer, but it may still work well.
One note though, Adult cloth diaper is having a 15% off sale on all their clotth diapers now thru the end of the year. I think I'm going to order a half dozen of their gauze flat diapers. I really like them a lot. They are pin on, but they pin on very easy, and they can be pinned very tight(no sagging). Just a little note to you! ..........Paul

I went to there site a few days ago and looked at what they have. As I remember they were the 3 snap on each side That's basically what I have now.

They don't seem to have much of a selection for adult diapers?

So far I'm fairly happy with the ones I'm wearing. I just wish I could tell what kind they are :? I wouldn't mind having a few more. I have two snap ons Two Velcro and one Pullup right now

I was looking around for some more lacy plastic pants and found some on a ABDL related store/site. But I really have a hard time wanting to order give money or have anything to do with such a place.

Am I wrong for feeling that way :?: I just have a very hard time understanding that crowd. What How or why would anyone want to or feel the need to lust after such a thing :?: :?: :?: I once read on another board that people like us are held in hi esteem by that crowd and how we shouldn't be put off by that. After all most of us have a very hard time being or feeling excepted by the "quote" normal people. I for one know that I'm very blessed to have the husband that I have. I've read on other incontinent boards about people like us. getting involved with a person with that perversion. And most of the time it sounds pretty twisted. Of course the thought is that the person wants to be excepted. So then figures a person from that crowd would be the ticket. Then the problems arise when the pervert wants you to role play for them and so on  Makes my skin crawl thinking about it.

Before I forget let me say hi to Tony. And also say PLEASE don't be a stranger Tony. Please feel free to jump in anytime. Even if it looks as if Paul and I are having our own discussion your always welcome. Paul M. and I seem to be about the only real active people on here. So for that reason most of our post are directed at each other.
