Hi Bruce. Stress is an unpredictable critter. It affects everybody differently. I have noticed I seem to have more frequent bladder spasms when under stress but I can't say stress makes me pee more. I'm pretty sure I pee the same amount relaxed as I do when under stress but then I have no control of my bladder and it is going to come out anyway. I think it is a good question and you should bring it up the next time you visit your doctor. Learning to deal with stress is different for everybody. When I'm stressed out a good physical workout or a long hike helps get it out of my system. Carrying it in you for extended periods of time is unhealthy. Best of luck.

Actually, stress can (and often does) make you pee more. It's related to the "fight or flight syndrome". Stress causes your heart rate to speed up, adrenalin to be released which causes your metabolism to speed up, thus your body to produce more urine.

When I go for a job interview or something like that, I always try to drink less beforehand because I know with the anxiety of the situation I'll be peeing more....not fun. :(
