Ain't that the truth. Even friends and family who know and try to be understanding really don't understand. I had to ask my wife to please stop asking me if I have to go the bathroom everytime we leave the house or some other place. I know when I have to go or not.
In my case I have constant dripping, and sometimes it just starts to flow even when the urge to go is very slight. I had an incident in my eye doctor's office about three months ago where it just started to flow without warning. I was able to stop it in a second or so but there was a sizable wet spot on the front of my shorts. I felt I had to explain to the doctor (as you see I had a little accident here...) and had to walk through the waiting room like that out to my car. My wife's comment when I got home - Why didn't you just go before you went into his office?
People think we just have to go so bad we can't hold it, and wonder why we didn't just stop at a gas station. They don't understand it just doesn't always work like that.
