Last couple of days I have been noticing a lot of sweat (below the belt area) also a lot more spasming/twitching of the bladder also. Also I just restarted taking my lithium again(bipolar). Any ideas why the twitching has increased a lot? Also any ideas on what to wear as the sweat is going through my depends underwear and starting to come through boxers and jeans a little bit. Thanks also I'll be telling my g.p about the symptoms next wed when I see her BTW I'm having a Cystoscopy 13Oct |

Tom, I have Bipolar as well. I take Lithium and Saphris to control it. Google the Bipolar Forum on About.com. There you will find a multitude of answers from experienced people who also share your condition. As for the tremors, I have an answer for you. Many of the psychotropic drugs have tremors as a side effect. If you talk to your psychiatrist about it, they may recommend a drug called Inderal. In generic form, it is called Propranolol. It is a beta-blocker used to treat Tremors. I take it as well. The beta-blocker also controls blood pressure. I don't have an answer for you as far as sweating. I live in Florida and its hot here too. I wear Abena briefs and find that they are quite cool. You may also look into Molicare. With the Abena's. I don't have much of a sweating problem, and I do drink alot of water to make sure I stay hydrated. Especially on the Lithium. With the Lithium, dehydration can be really tough on the kidneys. Not a good thing, so drink up! Good Luck. |

Kind of wish I didn't feel the twiching its getting to the point (hate to say this but) wish I didn't feel anything in the bladder(as it is I wet myself wish I didn't feel that as well) even told this to the G.P last time I saw her its even worse when raining. At times when depressed it makes things even wore. |
