DAAAANG BATMAN!!!! That's something I never would have guessed could happen. But it does make sense. Plastic has always been flamable.

Well... two things here.
#1) Wear pants!
#2) Smoking will kill ya.

Most clothing is flammable; that should come as no surprise! Some specially treated clothing is flame resistant....such as infants pajamas, but still, clothing items should be treated as flammable and not exposed to ignition sources!

Diapers are perhaps more flammable than most fabrics as they are plastic and paper, for the most part.

I know that packages of baby diapers carry a warning: do not expose to flame. I looked at several packs of my adult disposables and found the same warning about flammability.

Whatever you may be wearing, it is always prudent to be careful around fire, whether it's smoking materials or stoves for heat or cooking! The danger rises during power outages when folks bring out candles and perhaps kerosene lamps......many a house has been burned down with improper use of "fire".

I'd like to point out that plastic provides the waterproof barrier in all disposable diapers. It is just hidden with cloth like exteriors. A thin film of plastic is bonded to the nonwoven layer and the padding applied on top of that in the manufacturing process so you don't see or feel any plastic in such a diaper....but it's there.

My first thought was "Well DUH"

Second thought was "Talk about Hot Pants" OUCH!
