Post subject:  Minor dribbling issues

It's not a big issue but I was wondering if someone could explain why it is happening or could post a link giving an explanation. For quite a few years now I've had a small dribble that happens about 30 seconds after going to the bathroom. I give it an extra shake but it usually dosen't help. Today I had more than usual leak after going to the bathroom, not enough to leave a mark on my pants but left my underwear wet for a while.

Why does this happen?

Thanks, Steve

Hey Stephen,
I had the exact same problem many years ago before my incontinece set in. I talked to my uroligist about this and he said to try pulling on your penis to get any urine out. He also said just to stay there for a moment to make sure it's all out.
I don't think this is a sign of further problems coming down the road, but you may have your prostate checked out. It can difinately be a cause. Good Luck! ...............Paul Martin

Stephen,
Only your urologist would have the best answer for you. Other people can share there reasons, but your doc can point you to the right direction. .......Paul Martin

I believe the old saying still holds true for most men today.

"No matter how you shake or dance the last few drops go in your pants."

I've heard from a fair number of men who say that some post-void drip is a regular occurrence.

IDK if there is anything your doctor can do about it or not, but it never hurts to call in and ask.
