I saw a post from JDinVirginia over in a different thread:

I would post more if I knew what to post about! I originally joined because I was trying to see if I could stop wearing diapers. In addition to seeing the urologist and saying yes to anything he offered me, I was struggling a lot with just -- how do you deal with it when your bladder is full and you're not within (seconds? minutes?) of a bathroom.
I was too shy to ask every question I had, here. Some of the questions I asked other male friends. I think when you grew up with a less-than-stellar ability to hold in your pee, maybe you don't always have the right tools or the right kind of connection with your body, to even be able to make use of the bladder control that the urologist is trying to give you. But regardless -- I definitely needed to talk about that stuff.
Now that I'm back in diapers again I just... don't really have any questions to ponder like that.

Honestly my experience with diapers is that there's not a lot of frustrations I need to vent or talk about, or a lot of new ideas or experiences either. Diapers just honestly work really well. I've experimented with a lot of kinds of external catheter type things. Lots of web sites sell various "systems" that are supposed to be better than diapers, but for me they've always been worse than diapers.
