Howdy y'all
how's everyone doing?
I'm doing good. I Just wish it was May and warmer than it has been.
Winter is nice, but I prefer spring/summer hehe.

Funny you should ask.
Sometime while I was asleep last night I had a BM in my diaper. It did not awaken me; I simply woke up with it this morning. I am grateful that my night diapers and Nullo did their job; however, cleanup this morning took more than an hour. I am sure the reason for this was that I mis-managed my GI medication yesterday. I have nobody to blame but myself. Incontinence management is not for the squeamish or the fainthearted. We do what we need to do and move on with living. I guess that, if I had been wearing a disposable, the cleanup would have been easier. But I wear washables, so Clorox will be even more necessary than usual.
Thanks for asking.

Hi, Schoppy and everyone! I've been away from the group for a while and I don't have a good explanation as to why, although it includes getting a new operating system, which has been maddening. Patrick, I'm sorry about your nighttime BM. It's happened to me twice this week, although during the day. I'm a bit concerned about it cuz I've been battling UC since 1991 and pre-cancerous growths (adenomas/dysplasia) since the early 2000s. I'm running out of time and options for treating them. I have 2 more go-arounds with the specialty physician and the surgeon on March 5 and April 3 respectively. I just lost a HS classmate to colorectal cancer on Jan. 31. I'm still daytime incontinent due to my stroke in 2011, and I continue to wet my bed after my 2nd relapse in 1976.
Speaking of bedwetting, I can't say enough about GoodNites pull-ups. I know, I know. And I was criticized a few years ago by someone here for using GoodNites bed pads. Nevertheless, I find them very useful. Also, they're pure white w/no graphics. As to the pull-ups, for several years I used Abena Abri-Flex pull-ups to manage my heavy-volume night wetting. The ordering and the price got out of hand, so I went looking for an alternative. When I initially checked out GoodNites pull-ups, I had trouble navigating the site, as they continually touted that a GoodNite pull-up holds three 8-oz water bottles of liquid, but didn't make the sizing designations clear. I recently returned to the site to discover that GoodNites pull-ups for girls come in size XXL, which fits a female body in the range of 120 - 165 lbs. I weigh 150, and size XXL has a visually-appealing solid lavender-colored front panel, as opposed to a graphic depicting a princess or mermaid or some such thing. I decided to give them a go. They're as good as Abri-Flex had been for a much better price.
Schoppy, I'm glad you're doing well and hope all the members are too. If this post should go into the bedwetting section, please move it there. Thanks. W.

Here is my hope that our members will increase their participation here, to the benefit of us all.

Like you guys, I am disappointed by the low message rate here from friends who we have not heard from in a while.
I'm doing relatively well for an "old timer." Although I am severely bowel incontinent (double actually) night BMs are improbable due to my primary means of managing my fecal incontinence. With the approval of all my gastroenterologists, that is daily old-fashioned gravity fed enemas from a hanging enema bag with me on the floor. It is very effective and I can (almost) forget about bowel incontinence until the next morning when it is time for my next round.
Unfortunately, the younger generation seems to know almost nothing but Fleet enemas.
For me, the "yuk" factor is minor compared to the risk of being humiliated by a public bowel accident. I like that I can control the variables and do the enema at a time of my own choosing and in the privacy of my home.

Hi, John. I had been thinking about you, and I'm happy to know that you're still active here and doing well. I'd been thinking about some of the other members here, including MSUSpartan and SociologyGeek. I hope they are also doing well. I think justej has recently posted. I'm a bit worried about MSUSpartan, as back in the day he had severely dangerous hypertension. He was having ongoing medical care for it and I hope he continues to manage it succesfully and has a good quality of life.

Hi guys. JustJ was active in late January on the National Association for Incontinence forum. I have not seen MSUSpartan or SociologyGeek.

Hi All:
I'm still around and doing pretty well. My "numbers" since my 2021 Prostatectomy are still looking great (undetectable) and for the last 3 or 4 years things have settled into two pads and a pull-up each day with a heavier cotton pad at night "just in case", which is actually a very rare issue for me. So I'm pretty happy with all of that.
Oh, did I mention i'm getting a brand spankin' new left hip tomorrow (Feb. 19th)? I'm sure after the recovery and rehab I'll be happy I had the replacement as left hip I'm limping around with right now is NOT good.

Im doing fine. Sorry haven't been here in a while. Married life with 2 jobs keeps one busy.
I am leaking urine more often than I used to..probably because I'm forgetting to cath. Still drier overall on the whole... episodes can be managed effectively by midrange products vs premium level products. Right now I'm wearing MegaMax Lite. It's much closer to my current needs and less expensive than regular MegaMax. Not 100% sure on
Sizing, because they feel a little loose and sometimes gap at the legs sitting.. but don't most diapers do that?
I also have on hand a case of Dry Direct Maxi from Parentgiving.com that took a MONTH to get here because of Amazon Flex. I asked for a refund on the case, and the diapers were delivered that week..I ended up keeping the case and getting a 20% discount for my honesty when I told them I wanted to pay for it instead of sending it back since they already issued the refund. They profusely apologized. Word to the wise.. don't use Amazon Flex if you need something right away. I told the rep at Parentgiving.com... I don't blame you.. I blame Amazon.
While waiting a ridiculous amount of time to get the case from Parentgiving.com, I ordered a case of Seni classic and Tranquility ATN.. for what I needed at the time they got the job done. And then things got heavy again. I mean.. it's nowhere near as bad as it was pre botox, but I have noticed an uptick in bladder spasms and subsequent leakage. Sometimes I think it's due to caffeine consumption. I just can't live without my coffee.
In general things are fine. Just got over a really nasty fever. Most likely due to a UTI..
Im not sure if I want to re up the Botox... I've been getting UTIs way more often than I used to.
Peace out!
Rob

It's great to see you guys check in and give us an update. Don't be strangers. I admit that I often check for messages while in "lurk" mode.
