I have not posted here for a long time. A lot of things have changed and happened. I had my ileostomy reversed just a few weeks ago because gastroenterology never did anything to determine if the ostomy was a good idea before I got one. My ostomy output was a huge problem. It was too thick and everything that was tried made things worse. It hurt all the time so I had it reversed. Now I am back to being doubly incontinent and still having spasms in my rectum. I don't have any faith in being able to see anyone with gastrointestinal service until December and I had to fight for that appointment. What is worse is that the appointment was set up before my reversal surgery. Tomorrow I am making phone calls because I still have issues and I have to get things moving forward. |
