Post subject:  Kins rubber pants discontinued
I just learned that the Kins rubber pants have been discontinued; they are what I use at night over a disposable and pinned-on towel to keep my sheets dry. Does anyone know of a product with the same dimensions? (Their encased elastic version has a lower rise and doesn’t keep everything covered.)

HumanFly, you just lucked out as I can answer your question.

I wear rubber pants and rubber bloomers. After some mislabelling of sizes by Kins, I found that Kins obtained their rubber pants etc. from Protex.

I now buy directly from Protex and am very satisfied with their customer support. Their link is: https://www.myprotex.com/collections/rubber-pants

You will find that Protex offers a greater variety of rubber pants/bloomers than what was available on Kins.

Even better, if you register on the site, Protex emails will notify you of frequent sales. These will result in a substantial savings compared to Kins. :D

Now it seems Protex isn't stocking them anymore either - once current stock is gone, that's it.

Anyone know what's up with this?

I just read the same. No explanation given. :(

I can survive without rubber pants/bloomers. I wear rubber primarily on days when I think I am at a greater risk of a bowel accident (to better contain odor). My fallback, of course will be regular real-plastic (vinyl) pants. The vinyl will help contain odor but will be stiffer and not stretchable.

To help manage odor, you might try an internal deodorant, such as Nullo or Devrom. My problem with PVC pants is that they crack, and soon become useless for their intended purpose. You might consider polyurethane or polyurethane laminate pants. Good luck finding what works for you.
