I need to start changing laying down and am struggling a bit. I've been doing it on my knees (I'm an amputee) when I'm unable to wear my Prosthetic and its doing a number on my left knee. I am going to the ortho doc this week hopefully and until then need to stay off it. The issue I'm having is getting the tapes right. Does it just take practice? Anyone have any tips? Thanks.

I change lying down whenever I can. Because of your physical situation, so different from mine, I hesitate to offer advice. Early in my incontinence journey, an occupational therapist observed me washing and changing, and offered several suggestions that made it much safer and more convenient for me. I'm sure that an occupational therapist or a physical therapist could help you as well. Good luck.

I was able to do it just now but the real test will be in the morning to see if I leak. I can usually get the left side ok it's finishing up on the right.
