I’m trying to cut down on costs every month. I’ve been using MegaMax and the monthly cost is killing me. I think I can get tranquility atns and boosters covered under my health insurance. Another cheaper option I’m looking into is abena with boosters. I’ll have to pay part of that but it’ll still be cheaper than what I’m doing now. I’m going to ask for a sample of tranquility atns and boosters from a company called Aeroflow. It’s been a super long time since I’ve worn them. I remember them running on the smaller side. Another option is attends with a booster. Keep in mind I don’t mind changing after every wetting. After doing more research abenas really aren’t that much cheaper. I dunno. |

Does anyone have any experience with us tena? Are they complete trash? Could I make them work with a booster? |

They're not heavy duty but are frugal if you only have to absorb 1-2 avg voids. In my case, I just need to make it to morning where I finish the morning void mostly in the toilet (+ on the way to the toilet there is often some flow). From what you've posted in the past, I can't imagine these working well enough for you. But you might try sample(s). Perhaps with boosters added but by the time you add in that cost, are you any further ahead? |

Yea boosters are covered under my Medicaid so I wouldn’t have to pay for those. I’ll ask my supplier if I can get a sample. I may be shit outta luck and have to keep paying for MegaMax. |

I forgot to mention that the Tena Ultra brief does not have guards. That may be a show stopper for you. |

I’ve decided to just continue with the MegaMax. They work extremely well for me. I’m trying to pay off some debts as my disability increased and I have a few extra dollars. Since discovering the perfect way to tape I’ve had maybe 2 leaks. One of them small. I cannot do without leak guards and all of the Medicaid diapers are lacking them. |

I've never had much luck stacking boosters into diapers. The other day I was thinking about it and got crafty. I found I could cut the pad out of a cheap diaper, and by making an incision on the backing of another, could slide it in along the backing. A piece of duct tape to close the incision and I essentially had the bulk of a premium brand at about half the cost. This worked pretty well. It's a bit of work. I have been using this when I need to, and I've probably halfed my supplies budget. |
