Hello all, I just wanted to share a solution I found to diaper sag which has served me well. Holdup suspenders (no affiliation) makes a side fastening suspender that you wear under your shirt. The plastic (or metal) clasps grip the material a bit forward of mid-line. I end up rolling the diaper material over where the front and back wings overlap and then secure the material with the plastic clasp. I have found this to be a better solution to sagging than a onesie since it doesn't compress the material or contribute to wicking like a onesie will do at the crotch. It does nothing for hiding the waistline however, that would be the only drawback. I have found that they keep the diaper snugly in my crotch and dramatically cuts down on leaks out of the leggings. A pair of plastic pants over that and I'm good to go.S Anyhow, thought I would share. The "Under-Ups" are very soft on the skin so no worries there. https://www.suspenders.com/collections/ ... your-shirt |

Wow! I checked out the website and these look just like what I need to help keep my diapers up. Airport friendly and at a very reasonable price. Thanks for the excellent tip! |

They are a fantastic product, surprising how well they work with a diaper. They are particularly handy for those of us with larger waist than hip measurements (I have no "butt" according to my wife - unless in a diaper but that's another matter). You can tape comfortably and rely on the suspenders to keep everything in place. Glad you are interested! |

Guys, I have used Holdup underwear suspenders as diaper suspenders to support my diapers for years. It is very effective. Note that, unlike a onesie, you can adjust the suspenders to achieve exactly the amount of support you need for your sagging diapers. However, I commend to you an alternative way of using them. Instead of attaching the suspenders directly to the diapers, and having to reattach them to each new diaper, instead attach the suspenders to a pair of mesh spandex briefs worn over the diaper. Diaper changes are much faster this way. ![]() I will that the Holdup suspenders are of a high level of quality and last quite a long time. As has been noted, they contain no metal to set off airport sensors. --John (double incontinent) |

JD... Are the "mesh spandex briefs" and the "suspender briefs" like the Abena Fixing Pants, or are they something else? If not what brand are you using and where do you get them? DiaperedE... Just ordered a pair of the suspenders, can't wait to try them out! |

I have been using boxer briefs with suspenders for a while now (I prefer boxer briefs to briefs). JD is right it’s easier for change. Onesies usually don’t come in my size. That’s was my 2 cents. When attaching the suspenders directly to the diaper, is there a risk of tearing? |

I fold the diaper over making sure front and back wings are overlapped and secure it. Works great. |

Regarding the briefs to which you attach the suspenders, I recommend that you experiment. Plain old cotton whitey tighties will work. However, any thin, mesh-type spandex brief will work best and not feel as warm. I like those from Underarmor and Ex Officio. Note that dark t-shirts or polo shirts will conceal the suspenders best. Thicker fabrics do this better than thin fabrics. if you are wearing an undershirt and a normal shirt, the suspenders will not show. You may be surprised at how much more comfortable a nearly full diaper is when properly supported. It also may encourage you to use your diapers nearer to their capacity than previously. Also, note that frequent washing of the briefs is not necessary, unless you have had a leaking diaper. As I wear plastic pants between the diaper and the briefs, the briefs remain clean and do not absorb odor. ![]() --John (double incontinent) |

I received my underwear suspenders yesterday and put them to use right away. After a bit of fiddling with the velcro adjustment to get the right amount of support I can say these are very comfortable, and after just a bit of wearing you practically forget you have them on. The plastic clips are substantial and easy to use and I have them attached directly to my diaper with no problem or tearing. Not to mention that they are doing a great job of keeping my cloth backed diaper supported and held up right where I like it. This is an awesome find and I can highly recommend them. |
