Hi guys. Just a quick post. If you remember last summer I was rushed into hospital and spent a while in. Turns out my spinal canal is closing up more than fifty percent in places so am having surgery tomorrow here at the Walton centre near Liverpool. I have packed many things including catheter bags and lots of plastic backed Tena diapers. My SP catheter has been doing great. Had no infections for a good while. Still get the bypassing often so pads used a lot. Thanks for reading.

Wow Dave

Im sorry to hear that you have to have surgery.

My friend, and fellow disabled vet, fell about a month ago and broke his neck.
He had to have emergency spinal surgery as a couple vertebra smashed into his spinal cord.
He is still in the hospital but at one that specializes on spinal cord problems.
Considering that he almost died, he is doing a LOT better.
I have a feeling that he will be coming home soon.
He can walk again (with a walker) but still has a lot of trouble with his arms.
The Dr's are saying that it was amazing that the amount of damage that he had that he can do what he can now.

If my friend can go through what he had to go through, Im sure that you will do great.
Please keep us informed on how you do.

Hope you get better soon

Schoppy
