So this does not happen all the time but enough that its annoying.
I wear either a large abena l4 or an extra large northshore supreme. It happens more with the abena than northshore so I tend to wear the abena at home and supremes when out and about. At times the supremes will leak but my pul pants will catch it. I'm wondering if my pul pants are too small and if that is causing the leak.

Not sure if I'm making any sense but if anyone has any thoughts shoot them my way

Are you standing up the leak guards before to put it on?
Are the bottom tapes adjusted for a snug but not tight fit? Bottom tapes are about horizontal on me and my M4’s haven’t leaked while standing or sitting. Laying down on my side is another issue.

Yea I do the fold in half and stretch at the ends. Bottom tapes are tight from what I can tell.
I'm home today so I'm trying some plastic pants I have.

I agree with Ellyn about the leak guards.
Its likely that the leak guards are not doing their job.
I would try to make sure the leak guards are right up against the skin and the plastic shell is not interfering with its performance.
Otherwise, try some other diapers. Betterdry has the tallest leak guards. I have never leaked with them but I have (rare) leaked with Confidry

not sure if you are doing this or not but when aides change me the bottom tapes they will pull them over and kinda to the top of the diaper then top ones straight over see if this helps

i just changed after a quick shower and the diaper i had on before of course didn't leak. when i put the new one on i tried the tapes pointing upward and we will see how that goes. i was wearing a supreme before and now am wearing an abena so this will be the test since the abena is the one that tends to leak.

Since I started wearing tape up diapers I've experienced a few minor leaks (haven't we all?) but I was a bit confounded since it didn't seem to matter whether I was wearing a premium or basic diaper. Recently I had just put on a ComfiDry 24/7 and during just a second small wetting I felt a leak at a lower rear corner. Upon checking the "fit" in that area I found that the gathers/leak guards were not fully in contact with my leg in that spot and were in fact riding up on my, how shall I put this, male anatomy. I adjusted the gathers and had no more problems but wondered why this happened, hadn't I put the diaper on snuggly? During my next change (I use the against-the-wall method) I pulled the diaper firmly forward as usual but thought I'd better check the fit in that same area. Sure enough the same thing had happened and the gathers weren't firmly against my leg even though they felt nice and snug.

OK so here's the trick, before applying the first tape I reach "waaaay back under" and physically make sure the gathers are not twisted and are resting firmly against my legs and not riding up on, ahem, anything else. Only then do I pull the front top of the diaper firmly upwards and apply the first tape. Yeah I know, this sounds totally obvious, and maybe everyone but me already does this so please don't take offense. However now that I do this "fit check" I find that about 50% of the time the gathers were not initially firmly in contact with my leg as far back as I could reach. Once I finally understood what was happening I was surprised that I didn't have more leaks previously. Note also that I've had zero leaks since I started using this method.

So please give this a try, you just might be as surprised as I was to find that the fit in this critical leak prone area isn't quite as good as you thought. And finally, I hope this helps others, especially those new to having to wear diapers.

How the tapes point will vary by body shape and were the leaks tend to happen for you.. if you find the leaks happen towards the front you may find that the bottom tapes need to be level or pointing lower this pulls the product UP in the front but can loosen in the back... if you find the leaks happen more in the back you may find that angling the tapes UP will help get a better seal the back of the brief.

many people will tell you the tapes MUST go one direction but really it depends on YOUR body!

the other issue each brand has a different cut so one brand will fit YOU better than another,

Thanks for the tips! I was out for most of the day and had on a supreme and a blue supreme lite. Neither leaked! I also think it comes down to the pul pants I wear. While the 2xl garywear fit it seems the 3xl gets less leaks. I have gained about 5 pounds but that's a lot less than I expected and my doctor said it's to be expected with my limited mobility. She also said "cool diaper!" When seeing my blue supreme lite. Made me feel a little less embarrassed from when she said "still using diapers yes?" All and all good visit.

since my last post i have had zero leaks. i have no idea why but im just gonna roll with it.
