So I'm escaping the bitter cold of Washington DC and heading to Anna Maria island with my family next Tuesday.

I've placed my order with northshore for 2 bags of betterdry and 1 washable bed pad and had them sent to Walgreens on the island. This is my first time not having my stuff delivered to my house or my parents house and I'm a tad bit nervous. This is also my first real vacation since my accident. The house has a pool and a hot tub which I'm sure will do wonders for my leg. I'll packing a few extra abenas just in case but I have to watch my packing as I will need to travel light. Excited and nervous at the same time.

I Love Anne Maria island, haven't been there in a long time but when my Wife and I were dating in our college days (early 70's) we use to go there all the time. Way back then it was super low key with virtually no serious development and mostly just some vacation homes and a couple of fish camp shacks which we loved to eat at while sitting on the dock during sunset. Ahh the memories, I hope it hasn't changed too much. Just enjoy your time there and don't let the diapers get in the way!
