After the fiasco of my aide leaving right after she arrived cause she was allergic to my cat, I called the agency to go over EVERYTHING so there wouldn't be any more problems. The woman at the agency said "you need help with toileting correct?" And I flat out said "I have a paralyzed neurogenic bladder and I wear diapers." Usually I would say I wear protection or something but I told myself call it what it is. Dont be ashamed. It's not your fault. 4 and a half years after my accident I have finally accepted my need for diapers. It's my life now and while its different and frustrating at times, I've accepted it. |

be sure the office you are going threw for your aides do not forget about your kitty it is their job to know who can and can not be around animals i found that out too i have my puppy bella and she is very loveing and acts like i do not love on her at all even if that is not true but she can also be very stand offish to and i can use her actions to see what a new aide is going to be like and watch closer |
