Post subject:  Was stopped in customs today
After a short trip abroad, I was stopped in customs today.
He went thoroughly through my backpack and suitcase,
which contained three bags of diapers totally.
He did not react at all. It was no difference between checking my diapers and a sweater.
All he was focused on was if I had something illegal.
The only thing we really talked about was that I have a very robust cellphone.
I guess he has seen a lot of weirder stuff in his job.
The only thing I caught myself worrying about, was that I has bought a large brie cheese,
and wanted it ti be packed carefully so it should not be squeesed.

Just more confirmation on how common these sorts of issues are. I am certain they see various kinds of personal hygiene products daily. Nowadays people bring along the sex toys! I can only imagine they have seen some very bizarre things people try to take with them, or try to smuggle. There used to be a show on tv about airports, I think it was on A&E. You can find episodes on youtube

(side note, I have never been on a plane, strong fear of flying)

Your experience mirrors mine, although I never tried to ship cheese. Those flks have seen it all, and are never surprised.

Try this one...I got stopped in the Airport (I wear pullups/diapers on plane rides)for a body search- by a former student.

Fortunately, he's a good dude, said nothing and knows I have MS. :-)
