Post subject:  Radar key / National key scheme?

Being from the UK 90% of the disabled / accessible bathrooms are locked sing a universal lock with is only opened by a Radar key. Being a male these toilets tend to provide somewhere to dispose of soiled products and just all around offer somewhere more roomy and clean to change. I have seen these keys on various websites and they seem easy to get hold of. However most are copies and of inferior quality. On the official site they obviously cost a bit more but then you are supporting their site. Does anyone from the UK (think these are only in the UK) know if it is possible to get one that's official anywhere else? doctors? continence nurse etc? or perhaps Incontinence does not entitle me to have one?

I am not in the UK but will note that RADAR keys are available not only from the Disability Rights Web site, but even via Amazon from several vendors. Some of the vendors state that they are "approved sellers" of the RADAR toilet keys. In other instances the keys are stamped NKS with the vendor claiming that they meet the full specifications for RADAR keys and that only the keys with the "NKS" letters meet the full specification.

It is a great system and I will we had it in the U.S.
