Hiya I am a 20 year old male with OAB and in college. During the day I can usually make it to the toilet and wear generic brand male guards for the occasional small leak but at night I wear Abena M4s and wet heavily. I would love to talk to anyone especially others around my age or anyone with advice for how to manage this.

Welcome to our group

Sorry to hear you are having bladder issues at a young age, Dealing with an OAB myself I to started out in small leaks when it first started. I would recommend seeing an urologist if you havent already also try real fit for men they worked great for me when my issue first started as they look like real underware and will work better then guards as guards can move and cause leaks.
I wore cargo shorts or pants depending on the weather and was able to keep a clean real fit for men in one of the larger pockets just incase I leaked a bit and needed to change the real fit.

Since you are having issues at night I would also recommend keeping a change of cloths and one or two abenas or real fits in a bag in your car juat incase you have a larger bladder issue while out and about one day.

Remember you are not alone in dealing with bladder issues and we are all here to help and support each other.

Thank you for the advice I try to avoid using Depends because I find them to not be of great quality and prone to leaks in my short expierience with them. It is a shame they have so much of a market share thanks to their high advertising budget

Welcome aboard, greengold, sorry to hear about your issues. At 20 years old and in college, there are so many other things to be thinking about, I truly feel for you. I'm 35 and started having serious problems with my bladder at 32. It has been awful ever since. Feel free to pm me should you wish to communicate and swap war stories.

I second the thought about seeing a urologist. It is rare but you could have an enlarged prostate. Dribbling is a symptom of a large prostate.

Yeah I should but finding a good one worries me and last time I saw one they just put me on meds that made me feel like crap. I don't think it is an enlarged prostate as any dribbling occurs after the urge if I don't make it to the toilet in time
