Recently I had a fairly strong urge and within seconds I could feel all the normal feelings of a release of urine and the usual feeling of my (previously) dry diaper getting wet and warm. OK, no big deal, that's happened countless times before and I knew I was well protected. However this time I felt like there were quite a few drops of liquid hitting my right calf and running down to my ankle. I had on my usual loose cargo shorts so I was sure I was experiencing a leak. However when I looked down to assess the damage I found absolutely no drops or wetness of any kind. This same thing has happened to me several times before but I just sort of ignored it and was happy there was no actual leak. I'm pretty sure that this is just some kind of a nerve thing but I've never seen anyone mention something like this before. I don't consider this a real problem, and there is no pain of any kind, just sensation, but i was wondering if anyone else has ever experienced this same thing.

That has happened to me as well. I'm female, and have urge incon. I also have Diabetes and had a stroke, and I consider the sensation to be nerve related.

With my neuropathy, it's a strange sensation I expeience at times -- almost as if my body is mocking me by presenting a false perception.

There have been times when a leak really did occur, so this 'phantom' thing is highly irritating when it happens.

Phantom leaks happen and they can feel more real and intence then an actual leak. fortunately they as real leaks do not happen often but a few of them I would have bet money on that I was standing in a puddle but there was no real leak.

Yes, it''s always a bit of a concern when something strange or weird happens that you have never heard anyone else mention, it makes you wonder is there is really something wrong. However when you find out that it's not such a unique thing it really puts your mind at ease. Thanks for the responses!

I don't usually have any feeling at all anymore. But it has happened before.
