After years of trying anything/everything else I have finally found the right combination for me: a prefold, 1 or 2 flat gauze diapers and the new plastic pants from ADC. Due to my severe arthritis there is no way that I can pin them on myself in the normal manner so I pin them up aheadof time and wiggle and squirm into them. I am finally totally pleased with arrangement.

Welcome to the Board :D Your method of squirming into your diaper sounds like a hard way to go. did you ever try Velcro briefs or just pull ups.

Wesley,
I join Sandy in welcoming you to this forum. It's always great to see new members join in our forum.
I also echo what Sandy suggested on your cloth diapers. I, too, use the pre-fold diaper usually with a baby diaper insert. ACD has some great diapers along with plastic pants.
I've used the velcro diaper by My Lil' Miracle and the thicker pull-ups from LL Medico. If arthritis is bothering you, either one of these type diapers would be a help. Let us know if you ever need any advise or have additional comments. .....................Paul Martin

I am aware of the velcro style and would like to try them, but frankly, I have too much money invested in my present assortment with which I am very satisfied. I mentioned my pre-pinning method only because I have never heard of anyone else using it.

Thanks for your words of welcome and I appreciate your concerns and willingness to help. This seems to be the most honest and intelligent site that I have seen on the subject and it bothers me that there seems to be such a small amount of activity. It's very disheartening to admit that if it weren't for the AB/DL faction, this site would probably not exist.

Cheers.

Hello Wesley

Welcome to our site and thanks for the kind words. We try to keep this a great place for those of us that deal with all kinds of incontinence. For most of us, we find that diapers are the best way to deal with our incontinence. Some may prefer the disposables and some prefer the cloth diapers. Either way is fine as long as it works for us and one persons way may not work for someone else. Because of the wonderfull people of this site, and others, that have shared their stories and ideas that have made this site what it is. And I personally thank everyone that at least visits this site so that maybe it has helped them out some in some way.

:D
