I have not used this item but have had a wheelchair leg warmer from this company back when they made them for adults and it was good Quality. Do you have a feeding tube? That's what this is designed for so I assume it has a hole for it somewhere. They probably do others without. |

glad to hear the company has quality items. I don't have a feeding tube and didn't realize that was what it is designed for. I was looking at the way it was designed with the higher buttons so I wouldn't have to reach between my legs to snap buttons. thanks for letting me know about the company. |

I bought one because I had trouble fastening the poppers on ordinary onesies. I found my purchase so good I purchased 6 more. They are comfortable and the poppers are strong. I sit on my bed on pop them into place, it's really easy. The company is good. It says delivery will be in 2 days but I had to wait 9 days for mine to arrive but they did. Edit. They don't feel medical like for feeding tubes. No holes in them, just hight poppers. I use them and I'm not tube fed. |

That's interesting. Ones I've seen for babies usually have a hole for the tube. I'm guessing the tube is just expected to come out from the gap between the poppers? Guess it might also be useful for those with a suprapubic catheter. Higher buttons also sounds easier for those who are changed with assistance lying down. I don't particularly like people grabbing between my legs so higher up is better? I rarely wear pads now (just a liner) due to a urethral catheter, but in the next few years I suspect I will either have a supra pubic - which means more risk of urine leaking through the urethra regularly, or I might end up back in nappy style pads again if i can manage it, my retention improves, or the urologist says no to spc. I was mostly hidden by a big powerchair back previously to be honest but I don't know why I didn't bite the bullet and buy some onesies... I guess pride and the fact my NHS Tena flex super would not hold a full Wetting so if i was wearing one of these I'd end up with a wet tip as well as bottom and more clothes to change... Also generally when you don't have enough help damp underwear/trousers bum over a new pad doesn't feel as uncomfortable as a wet trousers. I never did find anything that completely worked for me. I don't know what I'd have done if I was able to walk and didn't have my bum hidden so people could actually see leaks. I guess I'd probably have bought the best I could and used a lot of inserts. The flex were just the easiest for me to manage due to my mobility issues, and the NHS said they didn't have the maxi! I've now got a stash of Tena ultima in the cupboard though I wish they'd do them in plastic. The new Tena plastic only to up to maxi. I still need to use a booster in the middle and a boostee over each hip thoufh when my catheter breaks. |
