Going away this weekend to NY to visit some friends. We're staying at their house Friday to Sunday. This will be my first time staying at someone's house for a few days since being in diapers 24/7. I've stayed in hotels and just leave a trashbag with wet diapers for housekeeping. I think I'm going to pack in/pack out on this one though. These are very close friends of my wife and while I'm sure they'd understand I certainly do not want to tell them. At night I'll go Abena L4 with Abri Let Maxi booster and disposable chux under me. More than I need at home but I'm going overkill here. I don't want to stain their sheets/mattress. During the day I'll wear my usual northshore supreme lites. Most of our time will be spent at the house other than us guys in the group heading to a cigar lounge for a few hours Saturday. I think I'll bring some ziplock gallon bags, double bag my wet diapers and pack them back into suit case. My wife knows I'm a bit uneasy about this and this was her suggestion. Any thoughts? |

This reads as though you're competent. You're reassurance for the rest of us. Good luck, and report back when you get home. |

Mike, You are very experienced with incontinence. What I do is very similar to what you have said. When I am at someone's house I usually plan to pack out my used diapers, if possible, and bring enough disposal bags to double-bag the diapers. Otherwise I will double-bag the diapers and put them in their trash bin myself so that my hosts are not bothered. In this case I put the diapers in an opaque plastic bag so that the contents will not show. Like you, I also take a disposable absorbent pad to change on if necessary and others to ensure that the bed is protected. --John |
