So I know that there are a lot of tips and tricks floating around and feel that we should share some that help a lot in one central place. These tips can be about anything that you do to make life easier, or stuff you bought that made managing, hiding, or packing for a trip or even the day better. So I will start with something that I picked up today to pack for a trip that I just found out earlier my grandmother will be going on with us. So I picked up these https://www.rei.com/product/866088/rei- ... g-cube-set At REI and they are great. I can fit 6 dry24/7's in the large one and could easily fix three in the small one. The big thing is that there is no way to tell what is in them once they are closed as only the white shows through the mesh and it would be hard to tell what it was. I will most likely be getting another large one so that I have more than enough for this trip which will only be a week so.. |

Try this one. When changing in a public restroom do you really want to put your backpack or other diaper bag. on the filthy floor? The hook on the door probably is too far away to be within easy reach. A simple and inexpensive solution is an over-the-door plastic garment hook that will let you hang your pack from the nearby partition between the stalls and keep everything within easy reach. ![]() https://www.walmart.com/ip/1RCF8-Coat-a ... 3=&veh=sem --John |

Here is another tip. After prepping a new diaper to put on, I like to keep it readily at hand while I apply barrier cream and wash my hands. I have found it convenient to use an inexpensive plastic laundry clip for that purpose. ![]() The clip just hangs from the towel bar. The other end is a clothespin that holds the diaper until you are ready for it. You already may have some at home. The cost usually is only about $1.00. https://www.amazon.com/Laundry-Clothes- ... ying+clips Individually these small tips are not much, but collectively they make diapering easier. --John |

Okay here is another thing that should work well. I have one of these bags for keeping gear dry when hunting and I have seen them used in the opposite was..As in to hold water or wet things in to keep other gear dry. This would work for someone that was using cloth diapers or if you needed to carry wet disposables with you for desecrate disposal later. I would still put them in a 2 gallon ziplock but these bags will keep everything dry. And they make smaller ones... Link https://www.rei.com/product/883363/sea- ... gQod0o0Ibg |

For urinary incontinent only. If you don't currently have a rash, and you're going out for just the day, you can skip lugging around the creams, powder, wipes, etc. Just bring your diapers with you in a small bag (actually, even the bag is really optional). You can skip everything else for just one or two changes. |

Another tip If you are in a service station head for the truckers rest rooms as they tend to have showers in great for a proper clean up. If at the coast head for a Marina or find the yachting/surfing shower facilities as tend to have showers. Also try sporting centres as have great facilities. In addition these areas are better for changing too as are a lot cleaner. I plan my trips with this in mind and have even phoned up in adavance to see if I can use the clean facilities on offer. I have found very staff helpful I have paid in some occasions well worth it though. In the county have a solar shower on my back ledge for the same purpose. I too have all sorts of hooks and foldable hangers in my go bag. Greenbank |
