So next month I will be going north to visit family. We are in the process of up grading our internet and until we get it I am stuck with just my cell phone. I may have to order more supplies before leaving for this trip which is in two weeks and I may have to wait until I am on my laptop at Starbucks to do it as my phone does not always work. Or I may have to just call Xp Medical and order over the phone. I so wish that drug stores got on board and started carrying adult diapers that actually worked. The best thing that anyone cares close to me is molicare supper plus which work okay but dry24/7's work better for me plus the medical supplies store charges way to much. |

Manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers need to understand that incontinents of all ages constitute a market large enough to justify creating and managing the inventory large enough to accommodate their need. Although I am convinced that will happen eventually, in the meantime we need to plan ahead accordingly. |

Blame the baby boomers. Stores cater to what they are going to sell the most, and the vast majority who need diapers/pullups are baby boomers with light incontinence issues. For most of them, pullups are all they need right now, and yes they still want discreetness more than actual protection. I'm hopeful that when they really get to a point where they need tapped diapers then the stores will start carrying them again. Till then, yeah were screwed to getting them online only. |
