Third time this month that it is happened. It is like joint poping but hurts really bad. It makes me not even want to sit up. I know this is off topic but figured someone here would have had this happen. |

ThatFLguy I found that I had hip/pelvic discomfort when wearing diapers especially when the diaper had liquid in. I found that having the padding between the legs gave a waddle and pushed the legs more apart than normal that was causing the muscle/joint discomfort. I sought advice and it was suggested to build up muscle strength in the pelvic area and not to have the diaper as full. This has helped me with my issues. Hope this is of use. Greenbank |

My right hip pops all the time. For me, this is caused from years of shifting my weight off of my bad left leg, and all onto my right. Now my right hip will start to hurt a d lock up if I don't pop it at least once a day. The pop itself does hurt a bit, but then it brings relief and better range of motion that tends to last 12+ hours. |

You might consider an evaluation by a physiatrist or physical therapist. Good luck. |

My left hip needs popping at least once a day. It's not particularly painful to do it but it's a big clunk and visibly see stuff move. No idea why. I'm bedbound so don't weight bare. I'm guessing it might be something to do with contracture. I'd agree with others to see a physio if you can. I can't as physio worsens my health. I do wonder about how it will affect me in the future if/when I recover enough to weight bare though ufh. |
