Or has this forum evolved into one that now relates mainly to fecal incontinence?

While I think a lot of new members seem to have that element, I don't think overall the conversations have become lopsided. Just my observation.

I feel bad saying this, but I am so grateful urinary issues are all I have to worry about (not that it isn't a big deal in and of itself to many people). My respect and awe goes to those who have that added challenge. I am glad that this site exists for all of us to get the support we need.

I just think there are not but a few active conversations going on right now. Those are only from a few people who experience both types of incontinence. So I think, yeah, you may see that, because at the moment, that may be what is troubling us the most and we are looking for feedback on our condition from fellow sufferers. Isn't that what this forum is for? This forum is dedicated to all types of incontinence. And for those who share the condition to share their experiences.

I think it's cause going thru something like fecal incontinence can be really debilitating emotionally, even I have several times just gotten really depressed over it for weeks because I can't describe it any other way then disgusting.... Even though it's been with me for all my life it'll never become something "normal" in relative terms. Sometimes I altogether dismiss the urinary incontinence because having a bowel accident is so bad, and the worst part is it can happen anytime anywhere and you have to find somewhere to change and clean up.
For me not only is advice about products and tips on dealing with it helpful but emotional support it's also there since I personally don't know anyone outside of the online community who's dealing with something like this.

Nevertheless if your only dealing with urinary incontinence you could still get support from here, most of us, even me also deal with urinary incontinence and still could help out and give advice and vice versa,

Wetters, I have not noticed that. With only bladder incontinence, perhaps 'our' side tends only to take note
of those conversations dealing with the urinary side of incontinence conditions. After all, that's what
applies to us.

Should we stir up a little more bladder banter, then ? (said in the spirit of good humor, of course)

Hi Wetters,

I used to think it was just the opposite with so few messages addressing bowel incontinence. :D As we have some recent members who are fecal or double incontinent perhaps there has been an increase in discussions including that topic. I am sure it will level out.

However, I should note for all that we do have a separate topic area dedicated to fecal incontinence.

i haven't noticed that. I've seen a bit of an uptick in that topic but it makes sense since Mia joining recently and that's the type of incon she deals with.

Anyone can come here and post any incon topic they want.
