Hello my friends,

I am excited to share with you this news. I have developed an idea that came to me this past Sunday for an online diaper bank offering youth, teenage and adult sized diapers, possibly in both cloth and disposable, and offering premium or at least midrange diapers to people who need them. The rationale behind it being online is it can reach anyone in the country who needs diapers. I have already started partnering with an incontient friend of mine on the east coast who is very tech savy and will develop the website, and been in contact with another incontinenent friend on the west coast with some ideas. Not sure what the name of the bank will be, but there is time to decide that later. I like the idea of having Secure and Confident in the name though.. not sure if it will have the words special needs in it or not. One possiblilty of a name is secure and confident special needs diaper network. Not sure, sounds a bit verbose.. but we can iron out those details later. If anyone is interested id partnering with either helping organize the bank, or becoming a donor, either financially or with materail donations of diapers or warehouse space or supplies, please PM me, or if schoppy is agreeable, post it here. I hope I'm not violating any rules. I'm not soliciting donations at this time, just reaching out and seeing if there's interest. We all on this board know there is a great need for this. We have used the medicaid diapers that are cheap useless crap, and ive heard multiple stories of families with special needs kids struggling to find diapers that fit well and absorb enough. Abena and Northshore and Tranquility have developed diapers that can help them, but they are out of the finaicial range of parents I have talked to. I want to get this started to help as many people I can. Who's with me?

Peace out!

Rob

Good idea, just make sure any diaper donations can be a tax write off.
