Sandy, I noticed in one of your posts that there are plastic pants with lace and designs. Where do you find these? Are they noisy or uncomfortable? Leaks seem to happen near the insides of the back leg bands and these might help. Not that it happens very often. The main reason I inquired about these is because I thought they might give me more confidence because of the more femine look like regular underwear. I know it sounds crazy, but if I can't go to Victorias Secrets anymore, this may be the alternative. Also, to hide the lines. I noticed some the other day that I wasn't previously aware of.

I bought from llmedico in the past I've also got them off Ebay I've been thinking of getting some Rhumba pants from Plastic-Pants.com They are pricey but so cute............Sandy

Thanks Sandy. Maybe that will be more like wearing regular underwear instead of the "granny panty" look that goes with a diaper. I have even thought of making some lacy or designes "over underwear" to feel better about this and to hide the lines.

I don't know that it would really do so much to hide lines. I wear them more for fun and for my husbands benefit Which also has a way of benefiting me

I looked at the website and these seem nice, although a little pricy. Because I didn't notice the obvious lines under some clothing I suspect some people have noticed the diaper, especially with belted undergarments. Oh well, a diaper is better than wet pants no matter who sees it. I just get so self concious about it. I also noticed on the website some washable pull ups. I wonder if those with plastic pants would cut down on the cost just to wear at home. However, I live in an apartment so the washing could be a problem.

I know this topic is titled"A question to Sandy", but will you allow me to offer my suggestion? I believe I read your post correctly, but it sounds like you were asking about those pull diapers that LL Medico has. If I read your question right, were you asking about a pull-up diaper with plastic pant combination? They do make a pull-up diaper that has plastic pants on the outside at many sites. They're called an"all in one". They are convienent, but you have to wash them together, and the plastic panty will not last long at all. Plastic pants need to be hand washed or rinsed as I do for them to last long.
Again, I don't know if this is what you were asking. I might be rambling on for nothing. I love the option of cloth diapers, especially at home. If you live in an apartment, washing would be a little problem. Only thing is, you can wash diapers in a laundry and no one would notice. You start washing plastic pants, and people may notice. But as I mentioned above, you should wash your plastic pants at home and line dry.
Sorry if I've spent too long on this LtsofQues. I just like to keep people informed on cloth diapers. It took me a while, but Joe K and I convinced Sandy to try them, and she seems to like them. ............Paul

As far as washing Plastic pants most of the time I just wash them by hand in the bathroom sink and then with a cloths hanger through the leg openning I hang them on the shower curtain rod and let them dry.

I wasn't thinking about the combo but the lace pant and cloth pullup for home use only. This may cut down on cost, this stuff gets expensive. I can have a pad at home because I make it to the bathroom but there is the occasional bad leak when I stand up or sneeze. I find overprotection is better than less. I saw a website called drylife with European diapers which has this. Is there such a thing as a chair pad for leaks for the couch or car? Extra protection makes everything easier. I found two new products on the web. One is an incontinent deoderant which seems like a good idea. The other, not from the web but in a store. Can't remember which one, but it's called urine gone for pet and people accidents. This wood be good for an accident on furniture or the car. I'm going to look into it.

Yes they make underpads for furniture beds etc. I keep them around here for myself I always keep one on my side of the bed just in case. I put it under the top sheet on the bed. most people put it on top of the top sheet but then I'm always fighting it because it keeps moving around on me. But being I'm a back and tummy sleeper I don't have the leaks that side sleepers deals with. Another place you can try is jrs medical. I just recently found them. They seem to have some pretty good prices. It maybe worth checking them out.............Sandy
