Well it has been a while since I had anything to say here. To say that things have sucked is an understatement. I am fighting a bad stomach issue that sometimes gives me just seconds to get to the bathroom or deal with messing my pants.. luckily has not happened yet. The day before yesterday was real close. Me and my parents went out to Arby's and I felt fine leaving but got out to my car and had to run back in, I just barely made it. Then on top of that I have been fighting with my bladder as well. In the last two weeks I have soaked a pad enough to have wet spots a few times. This is normally for a few hours after a bowl movement. It is very frustrating when I am out and about because it is either sit on the pot for 30+ minutes our risk dripping for a hour or so. I have pads that I have been using when I am out but the other day I full on soaked one while out shopping. Lucky I was right up the road from a store that I sometimes buy Inconvenient supplies from. Sad thing is that the girl working there know me by name from all the times I have been there. And at this point she know the products are for me. So all in all It could be worse but I is not been a good few months.. I have accepted that I need to keep a go bag around as if I have bad bowl movement my bladder is going to be a problem..

Sorry to read about your problems. Have you spoken with a doctor about your incontinence?

I regretted reading about your issues. You might consider using higher quality disposables, such as Abena, Molicare, Dry24/7, etc. You might also consider an appointment with a physician who can point you to one or more specialists to get to the cause(s) of this, and, at the least, suggest changes to your management techniques. Good luck and report back.

It sounds like you should stop using "inconvenient" products. Incontinence products will probably work better, and certainly be more convenient.

Lol, just kidding, I know it's just a typo. Couldn't help myself.

Sorry to hear things have amped up on you. Have you talked with your doctor about this, but until you do I would wear heavy protection that will cover both issue. That way if you can't hold it your covered.

Sorry It has taken me so long to get back on. Our internet has been speratic. So I talked to the doctor and I am on a new diet. A lot less carbs and I am drinking coffee more than sodas. My stomach is still off and on but no hard bowl movements lately so my bladder is much better during the day. At night is still another story. But that has been a problem for almost 17 years so. I have am off and on with the abena or molacare pads and pants while out as a precondition if going far through. And some foods just mess me all up. Like I found that I can't have guacamole whatsoever or it's water works for hours out both ends. And in all the doctors said my stomach will never be right so I just have to find what works for me. It suck because I don't go to the movies or that far from home or places I know. After Christmas I went to Pennsylvania with my parents and was padded up the hole trip up and back. Such is life now I guess. I don't even take naps anymore without being at least padded up.

It's good to hear you're starting to get a handle on everything.

Remember though, diapers are there to help us get back into life, not make us avoid it. So why not pad up and enjoy a movie or two. I'm sure you deserve it.

Alright chap, I felt the need to post as this sort of happens too me. I have been using pads now since I was about 12/13 years old (30 now) and it gets a lot easiser and it does not get in the way of life too much now. Let me put it in perseptive for you, I have a very loving wife, a little boy and a great family. I have little to no control over my bladder so have to wear a pad all day every day and I occasionally get bowel issues, luckily rarely. I don't let it affect anything I do and just think of it as normal underwear, if you don't care neither will anyone else. Have a good one mate it gets better

:D
Got my day time issue figured out.. I started drinking a lot of coffee about the same time that I started having troubles.. Well I got hocked on this creamer that my sister bought for me and low and behold it had coconut milk in it, which I have a mild allergy to as in it makes me numb to the touch with skin contact so you can guess what it was doing to my bladder... My bowel is doing better as I cut way down on carbs and I am eating more fiber so that it good.

Glad to hear that both daytime issues are resolving and that they are not due to a serious medical problem.
