I've found that using a suspensory to support my scrotum is a great way to go. As I get older I'm not very big but the hanging of my scrotum can be uncomfortable or painful at times. Supporting your testicles, using a catheter, and using a belly bag are incredibly comfortable for me. Sitting down or moving around "things" are kept in a great position and there's no need to worry about discomfort.

And for all you belly bag users out there, remember to close the valve after you're done emptying. I hate waking up in the middle of the night in a wet spot.

A good diaper also supports the scrotum quite effectively.

Only at first, but as the diaper gets wet it also tends to sag. Eventually the diaper will offer no support.

I learned this the hard way after a vasectomy. At first I was fine, but without that lasting support I ended up with some serious swelling and pain. Hindsight being perfect, I should have also used some compression shorts and a onesie.
