One more question. Today my car died after work and I had to get someone to jump the battery. It's apparent that I just seem to keep going every thirty minutes when it's cold and keep leaking. Does anyone else experince this. I don't know where I would have been without protection outside in the cold weather.

LtsofQues,
I've noticed you mentioned before that cold weather makes your wetting worse. That's really strange. I've never experienced that, but maybe some other people have. Now, running water can make me go all of a sudden, but cold weather must have something to do with it. Do some of you other members have this problem? ....... Paul Martin

I don't know why this is. It may not have been the cold weather as much as stress since I was outside with my car that wouldn't start. Stress is always what triggers an accident for me now that I count the number of times that I absolutely couln't make it in time or extra leaking, its like in a stressful situation I can easily lose control.

Yeah, stress can do weird stuff to your body. Keep it in mind, but don't let your incontinence be another source of stress. Easier said than done, I know, but you could end up getting into a self-perpetuating cycle.

There might be something to the cold weather I know there has been times were I found myself leaking more in extreme cold. Or even flooding more easily? Not that I have much control anyway but it does sometimes seem worse in extreme cold...............Sandy :)

I have always accepted the fact that it is common for cold weather to cause increased urination because of less perspiration and the increased stress that the weather extreme causes many people.
