we are heading down to Disney World in September for 10 days, and 4 travel days this is the first time we will be vacationing since I had to start wearing taped diapers 24/7.

I wear dry 24/7's and go through an average of 3 a day so I am thinking I need to take enough for 4 a day with a few spares juat incase.

in the florida heat in september 20th to the 30th do you think,I will need to change more then 4 times a day including one for night time. Space in the car is an issue Wish I still had the Subaru Forester :)

Any sugestions would be greatly appreciated :)

Rob

Robert,
Ship your diapers to the hotel and your returning travel diapers to there as well. That way you don't have to haul them. I always have extra because when I travel, Murphy's law always applies. Have great time.

I've been there a few times. Bring a backpack with about 3 diapers in it. Find a rental locker somewhere centralized and leave it in there (as many rides don't allow backpacks).

Like Brian said, a lot of the rides will not let you take a large bag onto the rides.
When I took my nephew down there a couple years ago they had lots of lockers available to store a back pack in them.
I do suggest taking a smaller back pack instead of a large one like I did (oops) as some of the lockers are smaller than others.

In the Florida sun/heat you will go through more diapers than if you were staying inside all day. Shipping some to your hotel is a great idea.
The main thing to do while you are down there is to HAVE FUN !! You will remember the trip for a long time and the wonderful things you did there. :D :D

Thanks every one, I will check about sending a case to the hotel ahead of time this way I will more then I probably need but we can allways bring back the extras.

Hopefully they will be ok accepting a Canadian billing address and card. Worst case I will have to get creative in packing 4 bags of diapers :)

Robert. Yeah so you have a couple options. You can either like order them and have them shipped to the final destination. Or you could bring like half of them there so you don't have to order so many. Or you can stick them in your spouse suitcase or check in a bag for your pads. On your way back you can fill the bag with souvenir and whatnot. It depends on your plans.

My experience with the Disney resort is that their handicapped restrooms were spacious and thoughtfully laid out. Enjoy your trip and report back when you get home.

I have noticed that some of the nearby hotels have mobility shops in them, and that these often have diapers- of the quality we need. Look for such a facility at a hotel near the gates, I have found them in Anaheim, and I'm sure they exist in FLA as well.

Thanks again for info, we have decided to take smaller suite cases so we now have more room in the trunk so we should be good to take a full case with us in the car. half the case in the trunk and the other half in the back seat covered up.

I will report back how the trip goes 19 days untill we leave for florida but whos counting :)
