I took the plunge and ordered a Men's liberty. I ordered just one, because they cost 15 dollars a piece. I volunteer myself as the board's guinea pig to tell you all if it works for me or not. Granted, I might not get a complete picture of whether it works or not long term, but at least i will be able to establish whether I can get around the skin drying and the fine motor concerns. The advantage is if it works, i wont have to worry about switching back and forth between extended wear and change when wet. The apparatus opens easily in order to pee in the toilet, and allows me to cath as well. It's covered by Tricare, so if it works, i might have found a viable alternative to diapers. It;s not that i have a problem with wearing diapers per se, it just is that sometimes its not as convienent. we will see.
