Post subject: | Beginning of nighttime issues? |
Since I was a teenager, I have had daytime urgency and frequency because of chronic prostatitis. I have written about that elsewhere on this board. Some months ago I noticed an increase in nighttime frequency. I mentioned it to my urologist but he didn't think it was of concern (I went from zero voids at night to one or two). But now I think I am starting to have a occasional involuntary urine loss while I am asleep. I'm not having anything like full voids. It's more like I change position, and then notice that my briefs are a little wet. It's sort of like I wake up and experience post-void dribbling without having actually urinated. Has anyone experienced anything like this? Should I worry that I am going to have issues at night? Noe |

Hi Noe So sorry to hear about your problems. As long as your medical team are not concerned and have checked you out then you should not be concerned. Life is so full of stress I stressed too about nighttime issues I have urgency incontinence I too felt the same as you at night. I had the feeling of going in my sleep and sometimes the bed was wet and other times not. I accepted the advice given to me that I should wear a diaper at night with a booster pad to see me through till morning. I no longer stress at night now and sleep through and feel so much better in the morning for having slept the whole night and my day is a happy one too diapers have changed my life for the better. Take care and I hope you find some relief sometime soon. Greenbank |

As long as you wear protection that is up to its job, there is not need to worry. |
