Months since I have been on here so sorry about that. Was at my disabled swim on Tuesday and new something was wrong all numb in my saddle area and burning down the legs. Got hoisted out of the pool early went into the disabled change room in the wheelchair tried to empty the leg bag down toilet and ended up on the floor. Pulled red cord and somebody came in seconds. Ambulance came into Warrinton hospital. C T scan followed but do not forget I can not have MRI because of spinal implant. Walton centre were sent the results and said they wanted me there. Ambulance was booked to transfer but did not come until 3 30 in the morning. Arived the Walton centre for nurolical conditions at 4 15. Doctor came to say scan shows narrowing of the spinal canal above previous operation site. Steroids have been given on IV for a quick temp fix but long term who knows. I have the SP catheter and leg bag plugged into night bag at side of the bed. Also wearing ID super plastic backed diapers 24/7. Having a Cather takes pressure off and I can drink loads. Some slight by passing and one bowel movement in the nappy. No chance of going home yet. SP has been working good just one UTi in 16 months with it. Thanks for reading. 4wheeldave.

'dave, I have been thinking about you - sorry to hear that you haven't been well. I hope they are able to do a permanent fix and get you out and about soon. I'm glad the SP cath is working well for you.

W.

Thanks guys. It's half past midnight here but I can't sleep because of noisy snoring fron two guys on the ward. Feeling a bit sorry for myself. Thanks again. 4wheeldave.

You know some of you guys are great. I have not posted for months but you still encourage me when I come crawling back with some new problem I have. I do appreciate it. Have been showerd this morning so feel a bit better but movement with legs is negligible. Doctors will be round soon. Thanks 4dave.

Sorry to read about your troubles, Dave, but glad you are being cared for. Has a treatment plan been proposed to you yet?
